Jalaluddin Rumi was the greatest Sufi poet of Persia .. Rumi's greatness lies in the depth of knowledge and ability to express feelings in a beautiful language. Because of the depth of his knowledge, the poetry of Rumi was also known for its depth of meaning. That is what caused the poems of Rumi's hard to match Sufi poet before or since.
